Verticals

Secondary Verticals

These show up in pipeline and are worth pursuing when they arrive but they're not the focus of proactive marketing spend in Q2 2026. Same low-tech industry DNA.

Pursue when they come to you. Don't lead generation around them this quarter.

Agencies (Mid-Market)

Fit: Natural

Workzone was built as an agency tool. Client deliverables, creative production, approvals, resource management are core workflows.

Watch out: Collaborator model is powerful. Many external stakeholders (clients, freelancers) need view/approve without paid licenses. Smaller agencies (3–5 people) fit Starter. Larger agencies → Team or Enterprise.

Proof: Baader Rutter, Princeton Internet Marketing, HPF Consultants.

Nonprofits

Fit: Moderate

Mission-driven, doing more with less. Limited staff, grant reporting, volunteer coordination. But budgets are tight.

Watch out: Lead with Starter ($8/user) or the collaborator model. Grant funding can sometimes cover software costs.

IT Teams

Fit: Moderate

Managing system rollouts, security updates, cross-department projects. Request intake and ticketing functionality resonates.

Watch out: IT teams often already have Jira or ServiceNow. Workzone's value is the non-engineering PM layer, not replacing a ticketing system.

Real Estate / Property Management

Fit: Moderate

Multi-property tracking, marketing initiatives, lease-up efforts. Kira at Clear Focus Marketing is a strong pipeline example.

Triggers: New property launches, marketing delays, disjointed communication, compliance needs.

Professional Services / Consulting

Fit: Moderate to Strong

Client projects, billable work, resource allocation. Lane Mims at HPF Consultants is literally a former Workzone power user who asked to buy on the spot.

Triggers: Client onboarding challenges, overworked teams, new service offerings.
